CHADWELL HEATH FOUNDATION SCHOOL Foundation School Completed 2000 A new build consisting of a drama suite of two drama studios with dual control room, an office, store room, and a media suite comprising a 3-camera studio, studio control room, off line sound and video edit suites for small groups. The performing arts facilities feature a dual control room fitted with computer lighting control, flexible sound systems, curtains and sound-proofing, to provide a space suitable for lessons and performances. The main studio is connected to the second studio via a joint storage area; this enables the second studio to be used as dressing rooms or foyer for productions. The main studio shares a PA system with the hall, which is connected to the drama block. The media department is equipped with off-line digital editing systems, a digital camera, a computer network, and digital computerised sound studio equipment. |
