St AIDANS PRIMARY SCHOOL (London Borough of Redbridge) Completed May 2005 The facilities in this new purpose designed school hall enable the space to be used as a multi purpose space for drama music assemblies and functions. The new equipment provides theater lighting in the round end on and channel. Because of the design hall conventional high level lighting bars could not be installed. It was decided to install dedicated sockets in the four corners of the hall for power and DMX control and use four wheeled adjustable stands with four lanterns and a dimmer on each (Q-light). These can be wheeled away for storage when not required. This system can be controlled in four potion's in the hall and in the control room by a twelve channel desk with twelve programmble memories controlled by the twelve sliders. The desk also has pre- progemmed chasses This system can be used in any space in the school or outside to light a display in a classroom or a science experiment as a single stand alone or together in different configuration as required. A purpose built sound system (Q-sound) can be used in the hall or easily transported around the school and outside. Four speakers are installed on the walls of the hall and the sound system can be operated in the hall or control room A portable multi level staging system (Q-Build) provides flat, split or multi-level stage, podia, display units or tiered layouts for audiences and choirs. The equipment is light to handle and easy to assemble with no tools required and store away on a dolly. The entire stage can be stored within a area of 1 square meter.
